As a fan of Sidney Crosby and the pens I don't want sid the kid to retire in 7 years from now because he is still really good and he still has a chance at winning the Stanley Cup if he keeps playing in the NHL because he is the best captain of the Penguins and I think that it would be good if he played until he would be in his late 40s 7 years from now Penguin fans don't want to see sid the kid at the end of his career because he is really good!!!

I'm glad to see more people appreciating Crosby as he gets older. I couldn't imagine having a spotlight on me at 18 and everything that went with that — and captaining a team to the finals at 20, first cup at 21. People may not have liked his boring interviews but he probably didn't want to generate any more media attention than what he was already getting and just wanted to focus on the hockey. He's been everything in a player we could have hoped for.

You lose their are consequence's. I didnt buy it then or now. How did that trade work we lost let's trade the guy who scored the most points for us in the playoffs that should help. Meanwhile fast forward a few years and the pens despite being a stacked regular season team are out in the first round every year. Pens sold out their future your what some guy who might not even be an NHLer. They won the cup 2 out of 3 years with kessel those are pretty good numbers, what's Crosby 3 out of 15
