Deano Part 2: Electric Boogaloo highlights:
-Ek isn’t the injured guy, but that doesn’t make him any better at golf
-“a player or two” might not be ready for the first few days of practice, but everyone is predicted to be ready for regular reason
-More training camp scrimmages than last year, plus power play tweaks
-People on the team (allegedly) aren’t talking about cap hell like we are. Dean supposedly just works with whatever players he’s given.
-The NHL apparently showed a “coaches yelling at refs” compilation to coaches during the big meeting, which is honestly hilarious. Dean says he’s “toning it down” this year. RIP Mean Dean.
-He’s going to town on sugar-free vitamin c Halls behind the bench.

You all did not miss much if you did not get a chance to read this Athletic piece. Admittedly, this piece was a boring piece. I read it, thought about posting it here, then thought, “Hmm, nothing to talk about here, besides maybe mentioning that Dean won’t yell at the refs as much this year.”
Dean saying he’s not going to yell at the refs as much means he’s going to be tame for 7 games and then absolutely explode on them for the remainder of the year.
