  1. Ryan Kesler —-> Jared McCann —-> Erik Gudbranson —-> Tanner Pearson —-> Casey DeSmith (for those of you curious how we got here.)

  2. Mtl needed to trade a goalie! They weren’t in a position of strength, not sure of Pearson health but nonetheless it doesn’t matter cuz of the 3rd rd pick. If Pearson plays then habs can potentially get pick at deadline! Goalie market is weak, can’t believe the return for Mtl

  3. I knew he would go to Vancouver. Was with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and had a lot of familiarity with Allvin and JR from the PIT days. Seemed expendable with the Nedeljkovic signing and Vancouver could use a backup.

  4. But what else is Patrick Alvine supposed to do to clear cap space? This fanbase needs to smarten up . The sky is always falling with the media around this team

  5. If Tanner can contribute at all he may be flipped at trade deadline. Canadiens got something for DeSmith especially that draft capital which can be used in future trades

  6. Good nucks move . Free up cap space got a good number 2 goalie now Silovs can develop on the farm. Good trade for both teams.

  7. So with everything done… For Mike Hoffman and Rem Pitlick, Montréal gets a 2nd,3rd and 4th round pick, Nathan Legaré, Gustav Lindstrom and Tanner Pearson…Impressive !! Yes there is some small retention but still…

  8. Tanner Peasron seems like a charity trade because he has not played a full season since forever and he doesn't really do much and he's 31 so there is no future with him.
So this is exactly what I said would happen with DeSmith and that is the habs would have to take back another teams trash to get a deal done.

  9. Hockey season starts for me when I'm back onto Legorocks videos on the Canucks 😂

  10. It should have been a straight across deal. Are telling me Casey Desmith is worth more than Pearson. This will look bad down the road. Another James Benning retro fit

  11. Kent Huges we are not worthy . Excellent move getting depth scoring ,grit , and a 3rd round pick in 2025 draft year it should be a decent pick . I don't see Vancouver making the playoffs that year. And Montreal not done trading I see the Wizard Huges making more moves aquiring more draft picks on top .

  12. As a Habs fan, i will treat Pearson like Monahan last year and this year…if he gives us a few good games and something similar to 20 or 30 points, i will be pleasantly surprise and it's good for his career…if worst we loose nothing at all and he doesn't seems to be a bad character either ! Culture is what Montréal is building and i don't feel he will hurt it at all.
