  1. Honestly, the Canucks played a much better game with Edmonton then people are giving them credit for. Yes the result was still the same and disappointing but there was a lot of good opportunities and sustained pressure in the game. They're trending in the right direction and it showed in that game that the top players where starting to get their legs under them more and more.

I for one still believe that last year was an outlier and that this team is going to be a much better team then people give them credit for especially right now. Things are going to start to gel, hopefully sooner rather then later though.

  2. Hamonic back is a boost to the blueline. Hamonic and Schene aren’t scared to drop the gloves! Love that! Also Mottee coming back boosts the bottom 6. We all know Mottee is our 4th like guy who works hard every shift and isn’t scared to hit anyone.

  3. Wow, why didn’t you use the same logic on the waiver topic when you criticized the the NYR on kravstov being sent down to the ahl and refusing to report? Rangers not wanting to lose a body and kravstov getting a lot of playing time.

  4. The Canucks are at the bottom of their division. Can we waive Coach Green? he dresses nice and has good hair….either that or just be content with a losing team.

  5. Glad Hamonic is back reinforcing the D. Rathbones was not playing well defensively anyways, giving pucks away so often. It is best that he learns to play more responsibly down there at his own end. It is works in progress.

  6. to many offensive defensemen on the canucks, good they get travis back. Schenn's last two games he has a fight and stands up mcdavid with a hit… big reason he should be on the daily roster cause hes getting noticed. canucks should try move myers with that 6 mill contract. we can definitly part with myers offense.

  7. stale defense of core again Canucks cannot rebuild a younger core Harmonic Myers oel shenn Hunt poolman yikes The worse back end in club History

  8. Saturdays game Harmonic by games end was definitely the best defensive player for the Abbotsford canucks but first period he did not stand out at all I think he should still be with Abbotsford canucks for another week.

  9. None of this matters if they keep playing the same system and making those dumbass cycles around the opposition blue line.

  10. People shouldn't worry too much. Most of the Canucks seasons started pretty bad. How many times have we seen them come out of the gates blazing, and by Christmas their running on four blown tires?

  11. It's like Don Cherry said, you can't just float around scoring goals it should look like a war out there. All the players will tell you, when you get in a slump you gotta get gritty, you gotta be gritty, garbage goals, any goal a goals a goal we don't care how you got it, distract the ref and run interference on the goalie. Your not getting 6 mill to prance around with fancy moves, just get that fucker in the net.

  12. As a Swedish viewer, it's really hard to muster up the will to wake up at 3 or 4am to watch the game when they are playing like they have been lately.
