I don't think he will hurt Heineman's chances on that left wing in any way, Emil has to confirm first that what we saw of him for just 13 games was not just from a better/healthier peak in form compared to guys starting to get understandably tired from the first three quarters of that much more demanding AHL season (compared to the 35 games he played with not that many minutes each game being on the 3rd or 4th line with Leksands in the SHL). He will most likely be more of a contender for a spot next season, not this one yet. I'm hoping he will quite soon earn his spot on the 1st line in Laval, could be more beneficial for him in the long run than to play in the NHL too soon.
Might be able to package him with Armia for a pick or clear some cap space. I know Kent is trying not to have to put Price om IR before the season starts but I think we're still over the cap. GHG
Pearson won’t make the team. Montreal’s goaltending duties will be shared roughly equally between Monty and Allen. This trade is perhaps a vote of confidence for Cayden Primeau.

Fixed it.
Not sure where he fits. It's the pick that matters. If we can get another 3rd later for him then wow.
Meh 💤
