I'll be sad if Stamkos leaves Tampa, I've followed his entire career there as a season ticket holder.
Coincidence that Nylander gets put at Centre the same time Stamkos isn’t resigned? or how Pinto is suddenly being signed?
The Bruins and Blues both made excellent choices for Captain IMHO–both guys are long-term with their teams and well-respected by their teammates. Re: Marchand: great choice to wear the "C". The "little bundle of hate" is highly deserving. Marchand is one of those players that's easy to hate BUT you'd love to have him on your team…😁
Re: Stamkos: wow!!!! Brisebois' comments are spoken like a true manager who is concerned about the team's future more than a mid-30s star with expected waning talent. That's a huge slap in Stamkos' face BUT hard to argue with Brisebois who's probably looking for a team friendly contract and not mortgaging the Bolts' future.

I really hope the Sens make a move to free up space for Pinto soon.. we need him at camp and good to go.. especially with Norris not 100% right now
It would be really weird to see Stamkos in another jersey… im guessing management there will see where they are at the deadline.. if they need to add salary there they'll wait till the off-season.. if not they'll do the extension then.. if they're out of a playoff spot somehow, they might ask him to waive that trade clause
