  1. I think Caufield will out perform a lot of players drafted above him. Specifically Cozens, Dach, Zegras and MAYBE Podkolzin and Turcotte (If those guys are drafted before him).

  2. Would you trade down from Chicago no3 for Detroits no 6 and two second round picks from Detroit? Byram might be worth it. Thing is 2nd round picks can be dicey as well as any pick.

  3. I would love to see the red wings draft him. We have great young centers so he gives us what we needed goal scorers!

  4. Every since he was little everyone who knew him knew he would go far in hockey. Go Ice hawks

  5. Wow as a Habs fan I must say that I am extremely nervous. He could become a steal or end up being too small for the NHL. Never thought he would be available at rank 15

  6. His lack of speed and small size will shorten his career. I gave him five years maximum in the NHL.

  7. Great video, appreciate u making the effort to do it in English, it's obviously not your first language, well done. I love Caufield, I think he's gonna be a lot better then Debrincat, Habs haven't had a natural goal scorer for almost 30 years, i am guessing, I think Richer was the last 50 goal scorer we've had, and that was probably mid to late 80's. I know Caufield is small, BUT the NHL isn't like it was 10-20 years ago, small players can thrive now, look at Debrincat, Gallagher, Cam Atkinson, Byron is tiny, there's a ton of em. It's definitely going to be interesting to watch it unfold and see what happens!!! I hope he kills it, rookie year…95 points, that's 44 goals and 51 assists. How he went 15th is beyond me, he had most goals of the draft, twice as many as Hughes, or more then Hughes and Kakko combined (just goals, not assists, or total points). Glad it happened like it did! Go Habs Go!!! Now they just need to draft/trade for that #1 center they have been missing for EVER! lol.

  8. Really love that player.

All his attributes translate to the NHL. His release is out of this world and he finds open ice with ease. He will have to work on his physical strength and use his small stature to his advantage (Gallagher style), but I have no doubt we will see Caufield soon enough in the NHL.
