the Habs salary cap is not an issue this season we are not making the playoffs imo and Kent Hughes is doing his job to balance the budget, as for the trade proposal i would do it, you got to swing for the fences and we have the depth at left D to make this trade, great video Coach.
Solid no. Ghule=character. Zegras was the single most hated player in the nhl last year due to attitude problems. Sorry, not going to improve the team long term
72 players at camp. Is that a lot? Anaheim has 63 players. 64 in san Jose. 67 in Toronto. So i guess 72 is a lot.
It's ridiculous that this Montreal Canadien team (28th last year) is still over the salary cap. A lot of salary still needs to be moved off of this team. That should be along with development of young players one of the main jobs for management this year. Dvorak, Anderson and Gallagher should all go. Hopefully for some return.
You need to start Rafael Harvey Pinard in Montreal if he wins a spot in training camp. That's why the salary cap mess is so ridiculous.
Zegras is a key player in Anaheim and I don't think they are moving him. Mistake for Montreal to move Guhle and at the start of a rebuild to move a first round pick which could be , easily, top 4.

because the players you mention are on elcs.there might be a rule that teams must field a full roster.

zegras is a first liner.bundling a prospect and a pick aint gonna get that trade done imo.
