GMKA wouldn’t be doing his job if he didn’t entertain all possible players and all possible deals; however, I don’t think GMKA will make a move on Kane. We have a lot of forwards and great prospects.
Would it be great to have FOUR STACKED lines where our 3rd and 4th lines are interchangeable with our 1st and 2nd lines? Absolutely. But I believe GMKA is in the “trust the build process” boat entirely and won’t make a hasty decision for possible short term success.

The thing this team really needs is a 35 year old defensive black hole, who is coming off of a hip surgery that has immediately ended the playing careers of all but two guys, and who was part of the leadership core from one of the most toxic locker rooms and organizations in NHL history.

I personally know a legitimate NHL insider who says he has no interest in playing in Buffalo. This was last year at the deadline he told me this. Maybe things have changed but I doubt it

I love kane as a player. Personal character is questionable. Being a Buffalo kid myself it was hard not to idolize this guy growing up and playing the game. The last thing we need is him on this roster. His play style is the exact opposite of what we need.
