  1. As a ravens fan, for lane Hutson, he reminds me of Lamar, just breaks games in a way that you didn’t think existed, but at the same time has flaws but his talents overshadows his flaws

  2. If you take a step back, they had to get rid of Hoffman and pitlick, rather than bye them out, and having about 1/2 of Hoffman salary to next yr, and get nothing, they got a depth defensman, depth forward, a 2nd ,3rd and 4th round draft pick, for essentially taking on the same anoint of salary in both yr s had they released both players. Not bad

  3. MAILBAG QUESTION: What is the strategy for a GM when it comes to dealing a rookie that seemingly doesn’t fit in the team’s plans because he is losing lacklustre and potential… trade him before every other gms and scouts knows his potential has dropped ? How long to wait?
With the abundance of prospects we have now, and knowing that only a fraction will eventually make the team, I imagine many will go through trade in the course of the next year or so, isn’t?
    Thanks in advance!

  4. Short kings rule – looking forward to seeing Lane Hutson playing for the Habs but also Miguel Tourigny in Laval. I love players who make hockey exciting and these two pocket dynamos certainly fit the bill (so does Simoneau).

  5. Dvorak is out till sometime in November so tanner will help. Also he has more talent than Armia and Pezz. Lastly he could help on 2nd power play unit
