[Nichols] Luke Hughes wasn’t a full participant at camp today. Fitzgerald said he’s dealing with something minor but “looked great out there today, just practicing precaution.” Adds he’ll definitely play in pre-season.

Gotta imagine they’re going to watch his ice time real carefully to manage the full season with post season in mind.
Listening to their presser Fitz and Ruff sounded totally relaxed about it. No need to risk Luke aggravating things in these early sessions especially since he got to have some time with the team in the playoffs learning the systems and the pace of the game.
It’s injury season, everybody! Lower body injuries all around!
