  1. You’re drafting third, you could take the next Toews except he’s a Chicago native. Or you could take the next Cam Barker in some moose riding Canadian.

  2. They can go either Turcotte or Byram and build around them. It's basically a win win here. I think Byram is a great choice because the unstoppable combo he and Boqvist would be. I like Turcotte because he strikes me as Toews with more skill. Either way they trade and spend around their choice. Oh and Kevin Lainkinen and Gravel will be our Goalies soon enough

  3. While I love the prospects that are up-n-coming, and looking at the potential draft picks… Why are we not seeing what this team is doing right now to make itself better? Okay, so they brought Marc Crawford as an assistant? That may be the biggest advance for the Blackhawks during the off season. Biggest drawback to this team is defense, and potentially head coaching. However, I want to give Jeremy (and his system) an entire season to see if it's a fit to the new generation of hockey in the NHL.

  4. I would go with Byram with the 3rd overall because he has that mind set to help the move the puck up the ice as a defenceman and can bring a strong offensive presence from the blue line i can future Norris in his play. If you choose a forward the team is looking at take Turcotte a talented 200 foot center that brings that talent of a potential Selki Trophy winner cant go wrong with either player.

  5. Should have Cam Barker on here…he was 3rd overall in 04( and a bust)….to think, if PIT or WAS made a mistake wed have Malkin or Ovi…..

  6. hope we get turcotte. we need him on our team. We should also snag panarin cause hes panarin and if we get our 2015 lineup we will be cup ready.

  7. please, check out Italian young teams of Varese HC in Lombardy region , north Italy… maybe you ll find some new future prospect. Best regards and Forza Chicago!
