Domi was a helluva lot better than to be referred to as a "WNBA player" in terms of hockey skills. I got to see him a lot with the Rangers and at practices in Rye when i played midget hockey.
Nice guy, had a strong stride, decent lateral movement, soft hands and average puck handling skill. The guy could play and did a lot more than just goon up. He wasnt a Cam Neeley or even a Proebert..
but he also wasnt a Mick Vukota or Dave Brown

29 points in an NHL season means you are one of the best hockey players to ever live relative to all hockey players. Domi was a goon but the man could play hockey, just not top level of the top level hockey.
