I wish I shared the enthusiasm some fans have about the team but I am not seeing it. Hughes hasn't improved the team from what I see and I'm starting to think the Hughes/Gordon thing was a big mistake. From the Newhook deal trashing 2 picks and everything after, nothing. He got rid of the Hoffman contract and since has taken on more salary than he got rid of without acquiring any significant talent. Fowler was the best draft pick, I liked that pick, that's it. I expect another top 10 pick next draft and Bobrov will waste it. There's no room for Beck and Roy needs AHL experience. Both will be bottom 6 NHL players eventually. Sorry for giving an honest realistic opinion.
