11:22 I'm not even a Ducks fan and I've been saying this since Troy Terry filed for Arbitration, which I'm convinced is the only reason he even has a contract cuz he forced their hand. I don't understand what this GM is doing with these players. It's mind boggling.

I wonder if the Ducks would be interested in Mark Scheifele? Maybe something like: Scheifele (with extention) + 2024 1st + something else for Zegras (with 8 year extension). Might work.
You mean Perry and Foligno in Chicago. They’re vastly overpaid. The Hawks had to overpay though to keep them from signing with a contender.
attending the Kings/ Arizona game and they cancelled the Arizona practice due to bad ice. No Zamboni to be seen. They had some sort of sprinkler to do the ice.

Re: Habs "D": wideman really won't be missed. Great opportunity for one or more young Habs "D" to step up. I'd definitely put Guehle at the top of that list though. He was looking solid before his injury last season. I think Guehle is going to be a real stud for the Habs.
Re: Oilers hiring analytics expert: Oilers can hire all the analytics experts they want but until they improve their "D" and goalie situation they'll never win a Cup and they'll be wasting McDavid & Draisaitl's best years.
Re: Zegras to Buffalo: Sabres would have to give up some serious talent to get Zegras BUT why not…. he'd fit in the Sabres lineup like a glove. Not sure why Verbeek is doing what he's doing.
Plausible for Nylander, Robertson and a 2nd (?) for Zegraa, a 1st?

Its because like jeff marek said ..zegras is good player but not great player..does put fans in seats but as far as leadership and is in the 2nd tier group of good young prospects..and i agree..he is like missing something in his game.i agree with jeff marek…
Sabres don't need Zegras or Kane. They need players with good defensive metrics that can help now. Scoring isn't a problem for the current team. It's keeping pucks out of their own net that's the problem
The Ducks have a lot of top talent on the way The only leverage the team has is this first contract. Once arbitration comes the leverage shifts to the player. Maybe the Ducks want a long term deal and the player does not. Sure lots of potential but 23 goals and -24. Not sure that makes him a top tier pay. You can not give everyone big money. Drysdale only 1 season. I think they are just trying to make sure they get it right and sign the right guys long term. You do have to question the 34 year old Killorn deal at 4yrs 6.25mil. That won't age well.
Zegras is not great on faceoffs and his D game and strength are missing. It's a low-ball, though
I wonder if McTavush's emergence and the drafting of Karjsson are factors in diminishing Zagra' value to the team? Zegras might well be worth more to the Ducks in a trade than he is on the roster. Would Owen Power back in a trade be interesting to the Ducks?

From what I heard the offer was lower 1-2 million they don't want to pay him for the future only what he has done, they had a internal salary cap and no one is allowed to make more than Tory Terry. I think Kevyn Adam's would do it for the right price it would probably be to of the slower developing player a first and maybe one of the lesser right now players. I wouldn't give up a A prospect.
