  1. Players need to spend four years in the CHL or be 20 years old. The case with Wright was he missed the four season cutoff by a game (maybe two) due to his exceptional status allowing to join the CHL younger, which is why the Kraken requested the extension. Dumais would benefit more from AHL but he has only played 3 seasons in the Q so it would be an interesting discussion if the CHL is willing to move that far. Would love to see him in the AHL though rather than score 140 points in a weak league again.
