Like this as a first look. My hope is that Laf and Kakko end up RW1 and RW2

One interesting thing this year is at least for day 1 group A has all the expected NHL guys with group B and C having the extras
Why breakup Lindgren & Fox.
Having 2 offensive minded dmen together could expose us heavily and leave us open to breakaways.

Just a reminder this is training camp and that Laviolette has said multiple times now that he’s going to be looking at different combinations throughout camp and probably into the season for a bit. It’s the perfect time to experiment.
Everyone get in here! It’s time to overreact to training camp lines.
P.s. I don’t know why so many people are against experimenting with the d pairs. They’ve been pretty much the same for the last 3 years. Change is okay.
Crazy how it’s all about getting Laffy on the first line, switching positions and all… but kakko stays on the 3rd line lol.
I don’t understand all of the inner circle stuff but if you ask me I wanted to see;
* Panarin – Zibanajed – Kakko
* Laffy – Chytil – Wheeler
* Kreider – Trocheck – Othmann? (Where is he?)
Please if you didn’t watch Lavi’s presser…don’t read into this. He will be trying different things each day. It’s hardly even worth thinking about his training camp lines as he just gets to know guys.

They’re going to try a bunch of line combos in camp. Lav said so in his first press conference.
