Montreal Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin gave a few updates the other day on Carey Price, Jonathan Drouin, and Shea Weber that I wanted to go over here.

    Hope Drouin has a great bounce back. Never been a Drouin fan (the inconsistency is frustrating) BUT that doesn't mean I cheer against him. He is a Hab, after all. I want him to succeed. auston matthews (with resentment)

    Marc Bergevin should try to hit an home run on the UFA market. His team just went to the finals, now is the time to add stars and sell them on playing for a contending team.

    We could force Nashville to bribe us to not buy out weber, it would only cost us 0.8 but it would cost then 4.6 and their team is very messed because of all their trades so we could see a good return Auston Matthews

    price actually likes jake allen as a person they have similar interests in fishing/hunting so im glad for the both of them!!! just hope Drouin is doing alright and that the media lay off the pressure next season… lets just see what fun playing pressure free drouin is capable of

    Love to see Drouin/Suzuki/Goldfield line clicked, but if not Drouin needs a new change of scenery. I am happy with that.

    As for the new breed of the Warrior Capt. He could beat the unsurmontable odds and come back playing sooner than people think. I call him new bread of wa rrior for his rock-like ruggness and pain endurance. He just need a good repair.

    If Shea Weber career is done that's so sad he didn't end it on his terms but he will be in the Hockey HOF for sure

    For the Candiens with all that cap space freeded up they could go after Jones, Hamilton, Eichel or make a huge trade

    This just in: Carey Price had knee surgery today in New York, recovery time 10-12 weeks, expected to be ready for start of the season.

    Drouin has never been focused in the entire time he's been in Montreal. A perennial disappointment. His shitty work ethic is contagious….it was only after he abandoned the team right before the playoffs, and his spot filled by CC that the Habs really started to get traction. Give me a rookie with hustle over an overpaid primadonna any day
