  1. When Ian Healey was [wrongly] given out, he walked off and threatened someone in the crowd with his bat.

  2. "You don't often see a bat raised at another player". Yup, but you see a batsman getting kicked all the time right? Idiot Healy.

  3. I always thought it was David Boon who did that at the Wanderers…that is why I could never find a clip of it. Thanks for clearing that up.

  4. I'm sure Big Merv appreciates the irony of an incident that basically ended his Test career amongst handwringing about the game's reputation, being used by CA and Channel 9 as promotional material

  5. Slater: you don't often see a bat raised at another player.
Healy: Well dont worry about the bat raised he just got kicked :D…
Everyone else: well, thats just Dennis doing one of those Dennis Lille quirks isn't it… LOL

  6. I've never quite understood why it's okay for a bowler to attack a batsman's body with the ball, but not for retaliation with the bat. Finally … "thank you gentlemen, now let's talk about cheating."

  7. One day at Portsmouth, Somerset were batting, Viv Richards upon balcony, some bloke below him was pretty rude, made a personal remark, Viv erupted, the guy legged it, but Viv jumped over balcony and took off after him, a chase in vain, but he was raging!, Never a man to upset, that's for sure

  8. Have you noticed that all those blow ups, involve Australians? We have tried to clean up our image in recent years but have a long way to go.

  9. Gee , the old school on the edge , wow. What happened when Hooksy met the real world.

  10. i bet thats why bats are expensive cos the wood is wasted when thrown like that and thus passing the cost on to the consumer for the sponsored players to continually damage their bats
