  1. i love that the oiler players call him nugget on oil change even ryan jones wife calls him nugget at the end of it

  2. the sad thing is 2 voters had him as the 5th best rookie over all , and 16 voters had him as the 4th best. To be fair 75% of the voters are living in the Eastern US. They don't care at all about the Oilers.

  3. He became a 97 overall at 27 and led the league in scoring and won every non-goalie trophy in the 2019 season of my NHL 12 be a gm.

  4. The Oilers are gonna be more stacked than Pittsburgh is now. Hall, RNH, Eberle, Gagner, Paajarvi, Whitney all on the same team.

  5. yah Connor McDavid is a very special talent, some scouts say he is more impressive in his youth the Yzerman or Sakic

  6. I think Nugent will eventually become captain. With his character and drive, he can easily match Landeskog's leadership (albeit a different style).

  7. true, landeskog plays gritty and creates momentum via hits and defensive play, but nugent hopkins has insane vision to make big plays, solid defensive play, and i do think hopkins is similar to datsyuk in a way. a puck thief, surprisingly strong, elite passing, elusive skater. Hopkins also looks mature on the ice and should be captain instead of eberle or hall.

  8. Canadian version of Peter Forsberg, no question. Skates, passes and eludes players and hits like him as well. Captin material and second top 5 passer in the leauge (already) he is a true beast and budding superstar. Thank God Canada always produces the best players and Legends in hockey history consistently. Just another elite player to add to the list!

  9. i believe ryan nugent hopkins will be one of the best players in the nhl winning scoring titles hart trophies and a cup

  10. I know he was nominated for the Calder, but I never realized his rookie campaign was that good. Had it not been for the injury he had, I wonder if he'd still have kept that pace.
