Im not a racer and have never biked down a mountain, but at 1:02 of the video not race- with all that speed coming down the first hill, that second bump up looks like the slightest miscalculation would send him down the side of the mountain. When I watch the commentator video, I think the other people in the commentators box felt the same- they were like – OH SHIT
I watched this live and to give it some context pretty much every other rider slowly picked their way down the mountain with most falling and he just turns up and completely destroys it throwing in whips and shit. Definitely one of the most amazing sporting moments I've ever witnessed.
