  1. Wait really? I’ve never heard about this. I thought uniqlo didn’t have a tennis brand ambassador before federer

  2. Djokovic may be the undeniable statistical GOAT and is a major contender for the GOAT but Federer remains the most marketable

  3. bros not throwing shade, he's tired, and can tell the interview has been boring, so tried to make it more i teresting

  4. After watching Rune i now like Djockovic.
He was the bad guy we loved to hate but i do love Djockovic and loved he switched to Lacoste
He is actually a very nice and generous man

  5. Fake (old) news. Djokovic and Uniqlo parted ways. Djokovic found a legend of a sponsor. Lacoste. Uniqlo picked up Federer after Nike dropped Federer as he was suddenly available and even had no sponsor on his clothes for a few tournaments – which was weird for a champion of his level.

  6. I live in Japan and in my experience from casual talk around the courts with Japanese friends – Djockovic is not particularly well liked. Especially these days with his anti-vax stance and ambivalence surrounding the war in Ukraine — two issues that have pretty strong support here. Not saying anyone discounts his skill, but Uniqlo knows their market.

  7. For people saying date is inaccurate or "Fake news"…
This video is from 6 Sept 2018 US OPEN QF. Federer signed Uniqlo deal in JULY 2018 (2 Months prior). Djokovic is aware that they dropped him a year ago to make room for big contract with Federer. It was known he was having disputes with Nike for a while.

  8. @tmisports – Only shade here is you trying to belittle the GOAT – Novak (24). Going from Uniqlo to Lacoste is like driving a Toyota to driving a Bugatti. .
