Funny how all I heard about the multiple vet signings in the off season how every one claimed how awesome it was it creates "Competition" and people are claiming that tonight was "the Rangers AHL players so stop complaining". Chytl, Lafreniere, Vesey, Schneider, Leschyshyn, Harpur, Jones, Cuylle, Brodzinski, Jones, All have played NHL games for the Rangers last year. Quick 37YO-HOF Belzile 32YO, Nash 34YO, Mackey 27YO, Blidh 28YO, Domingue 31YO These are NHL Journeyman players Guaranteed 1 year deals (Propaganda spewed about them =Great signings for "Competition") That's 16 out of 20 players who have been in NHL games. AHL team excuse doesn't hold water. You and especially "they" should expect more. Definitely didn't see any competitiveness in one person in particular. And he is slated to have a Break Out Season. There were a lot of mistakes, problem is a good amount of these guys only have a few games to play. And the ones who are kind of guarantees need to play harder if they want to win in the future. Less then 6 games per player to prepare some 2 if lucky. Yeah so this game was a big deal.
