I'm still wondering why Samoskevich didn't get called up in the playoffs. He coulda been an X-factor.

Samoskevich looks realky solid – i would love to see him make the opening night roster. He has a lot of skill, and is quick and shifty. He evaded defenders many times. He also scored 2. It would be interesting to see a line with Samoskevich – Lundell – Luostorainen … our own "kid line". Move Cousins back down to 4th line and try Reino on the second line with Chucky and Bennett. All in all, this group is playing like they are pissed about last year. I see flashes of the 2021-22 President's Trophy team with all the slick offensive plays…. the difference is we are now a heavier team. You can also tell that the guys look way more comfortable in year two of Maurice's system.
