IMO – the return on PLD was so good because the Kings needed to clear cap space to sign him, and if you look at the returns that guys with $'s commitments were getting over the summer (essentially little to nothing) that deal makes more sense. It was still a good deal for the Jet's, but it wasn't Chevy playing 4D Chess or robbing LA blind in the deal like some seem to portray.
