  1. Forgot to talk about our goalies! Monty looked solid for a while there, ALSO encouraged by him, Dobes needs to learn some puck handling skills lol, saw the same thing in Buffalo from him, but he had a few confident looking saves & he’s got potential. Cheers guys! 😎

  2. Hey Drew, love that your trying to pronounce the french names being an enlgish man ! I myself struggle living in Quebec and being english and get corrected all the time so please dont get upset at me for trying to help you here but I think we will be talking about Xavier Simoneau ALOT more in the future, so here , easiest way to pronounce his name

    SI-MO-NO

    🙂 LOVE U DREW

  3. Poor Slav, looked lost in the sauce. But, I'm sure he will crack the Laval line up this season, because he does not look NHL ready.

  4. Slaf HAS to have a good season, I'm expecting at least 30-35 points, if he can't get that, then something is wrong.

  5. Kudos to you for doing this with a frozen mouth! Great review. Yes, Its only the PRESEASON and yes, can we lose those back passes on the PP?

  6. Reinbacher and Mailloux are interesting, sadly they are both defensemen and Montreal already got plenty of defensemen under contract, unless multiple moves are made i dont see either of em making the lineup so far.

Same thing with Roy, i really like what im seeing, but Montreal got 15 forwards under contract, unless moves are made, he won’t make it.

For a team in a complete rebuild the Canadiens surely likes 25-35 years old mid to bottom of roster vets to get in the way of the youngsters (to be fair most are Bergevin signings).

  7. you still can not decide who will be better….Slafs, Cooley or Wright…..in my opinion Wright will be 3rd……Cooley was playing with a more veteran team them Slafs played with….time will tell.. we still need to clean out some of Berg's everyone gets 5 year contracts to make room for the young ones

  8. I love the overreaction theatrics Drew. And, it’s so easy to mock the negatives. The Habs have some depth to work with this year. Martin St. Louis will be able to really play around with combinations and roster rotations. I am certainly cheering for Justin Barron. He’s young (21) and a needed right shot. Patience needs be a virtue this season. My greatest fear is injury. No team can contend if they are dealing with mass injury concerns.😃 Mick
