I see the Cowan hype train has left the station.
We see this every year, sure-thing NHLers are slowly ramping up, younger guys are going full speed to try and make an impression.
Some players just hit the next gear when they get a taste of the show.
Listen I’m not gonna go full fanboy, but… Cowan is making the opening day lineup and he’s winning the Conn Smythe as the Leafs win the cup
Cowan is a work ethic guy. That’s going to play well especially in early preseason against half NHL rosters and the half that are there are just using this as conditioning. I like what we have seen from him so far but I think we need to really temper one preseason game worth of expectations. This is good stuff. Let’s keep it as good stuff instead of putting expectations that hell outscore Bedard while also winning the Selke
Cowan started to pick up his game at the end of the OHL season he’s obviously developing fast

Great moment for the kid to play in a Leafs jersey close to home! Tempering expectations beyond that, but this is a fun story.
