Depending on how the season goes, signing a 1 year deal makes him either a targeted resigning player next spring or potential trade bait as the season moves along. Another player who can play top 6 if needed. Wild will have some tough decisions next summer. This guy I hope is on the “keep” list…

Ok these coach decisions by Evason need to be addressed by the media please have Jessi ask Dean Evason why he continues to put Rossi a playmaker w grinders, U have Beckman a sniper in the mix w no one to set him up, an explanation of this foolish decision needs to come to light. What is the point of being the coach of This particular cash strapped team if U don’t believe in the youth…Evason is holding the team back in terms of youthful progression, we can NOT HAVE 7 rookies next year he needs to see guys like Beckman play w quality if not he is pushing the peak of these players back 2-3 more years right past 97 s peak years. The retarding of player growth is going to destroy this team I’m calling it now. Evason is a Pariah as I stated in Sota Pod 2 weeks ago, move on from this guy …his only agenda is winning a few regular season games to save his job he has zero interest in development or chemistry for a future cup contender. Again we can NOT function w 7-9 rookie contract players the next 2 year, he needs 3 this year, 4 the following. Why is it so hard to look a bit towards the future. Sorry to ramble but this coach is infuriating
