The Buffalo Sabres got the better of our Boston Bruins in preseason action on Tuesday.

1) Oskar Steen scored the lone Bruins goal and recorded a team high six shots. Could he be the answer for depth scoring in a third line role? Shout out to Mason Lohrei who recorded an assist in almost 30 minutes of ice time.
2) Boston’s road jerseys popped on TV. It’s a look they should keep moving forward.
3) Zach Benson stood out for the Sabres, and this team is going to be scary good because of how well they’ve drafted.

I thought Heinen was gonna make the team when they signed him to a pto . Since that time he has not showed he deserves a spot on the bruins roster . Hard pass on him . Lohrei is the bruins top prospect between him and bussi.
Heinen is still just as disappointing as ever. You'd think he'd embrace a prominent role on a team full of prospects but he was absolutely invisible. Only saw one decent shot on net, couldn't pass for shit and was out of position on defense.
