The Grand Rapids Griffins wrapped up the 2020-21 season and we have all the opinions! With such a weird season finally behind us, we look at the prospect overload the Griffins experienced this season. Donovan Sebrango, Givani Smith, and Joe Hicketts top our list for improvements this season! With the influx of prospects from way down in the pipeline and taxi squad changes frequently, what does this mean for next season and the prospects as the expansion comes up?
We also look at the best and not-so-great aspects of the Griffins’ play this season.

Another great video! Quick thoughts on Blash? As far as draft prospects go… initially I was wanting to go forward with our first pick because we still need some more fire power up front and have a very solid defensive prospect pool. But top pairing defenseman are too difficult to come by. You don’t get these guys through trades (unless it’s for a ransom) or free agency, you get them through the draft and if you have an opportunity to take one I think you should. Then next year hopefully we can land one of Wright, Savoie or Lambert to help fill things out up front
😍
At the very least Hicketts is a Biega replacement. I think he is a good 6/7 defender, but I'm not the GM or coach.
Nice things.
