He is no where near feisty he is a bigger body that doesnāt want to take part in contact unless itās with guy like garland stop with all nonsense I think he needs to be in Abby better PTO guys out there
Frank seems so approachable, would love to find a patio in Vancouver on a Saturday afternoon, buy him a pilsner and pick his brain on hockey for an hour.
I think it is a show case to show players talent and how much they want to play on this team. That game was a huge mismatch, yet all those players were thought to be able to do more. As a professional you should not be getting intimidated. It looked like most of the team got flustered. That lack of battle. Only a few players played okay and battled and they are looking at those players. It was like a Bantam Rep team vs a Pee Wee House team. Calgary's young guy Klapka is like 6-6 or bigger and over 230 pounds. Decent player with a mean streak. Was more effective than all the young Canucks yet I don't think he is as talented. I could see him getting twenty before Joshua. To me you sort of have to be raised fighting or you really can't become a fighter. As a team we don't have a legit tough guy. We are still weak in at least three areas. We have a small team.
I remember I was at Frankieās first NHL game. He made a surprisingly big hit in his first shift and got straight to the bench when the puck left the D zone š Love when you guys have him on, always thought he was a little underrated in the NHL given the opportunities he had later in his career (or lack thereof).
Great interview/segment, thanks guys!
Remember Ronalds Kenins who impressed, got a contract, then came to camp next season thinking he had a spot. Joshua got the message that Kenins didn't get before it was too late.
Really sounds like Schneide's could be a really good color commentator, if he wants a new career.
Many years ago and friend and I were in Gary Taylor's a high end strip club. The Canucks had just been been eliminated from the playoffs. Don Lever and Dennis Ververgaert were drinking in there. Ververgaert was pretty pissed, irritating Lever as Don talked to a fan, no social media back then but we would have kept this to ourselves anyway
That was Great! Thanks guys!
Totally agree about Canucks Twitter. Sometimes I think Canucks "fans" are more like "anti fans". One thing goes wrong and then it's chicken little. No matter what moves they make, they're negative.
Just watched the Oilers Canucks game. Very impressive effort from the Canucks. McDavid scored in OT to end it, but the compete effort was excellent.
Hey Frank, what's with the Leaf's jersey??? Let's get the Canucks jersey up there too! Sheesh! :{
