  1. He's looking better than the AHLers on the Sens so he should be ready to play NHL full time this year and have decent production

  2. Caufield actually looked good but I noticed he was missing the net a lot he took a lot of shots which was good but he was missing a lot but that's to be expected I'm sure wouldn't bet against Caufield to get 45 goals this year if he stays healthy

  3. people have to manage their expectations on slaf…he might never become a superstar but he has shown flashes that he could become a verygood top 6 power forward in the future

  4. As a flames fan do you think the flames will have a great season and do you think the flames will make the playoffs and what do you think of Michel being the new captain of the Calgary Flames

  5. My biggest wish for this season is for everyone to stay healthy all season long. If we can avoid big injuries, I'm fairly certain the Habs will take a big step forward this year!

  6. I would have loved to see a Sean Monahann without injuries in his career, i feel bad for him

  7. I'm not sure people realize the amount of work invested in developing north Americans compared to other countries. He popped out of nowhere due to his hard work. He didn't have a path laid out on a red carpet. I'm not saying McDavid, Hughes, Matthews, Cooley, Wright didn't work hard. I'm saying that a lot more people put hours in their development. Could we even find who helped Slaf? How long did some of these kids get to prepare knowing exactly what to expect? Is Bedard that mature or was he coached on what to say and how to say it? I'd be surprised if year prior to the draft slaf was convinced he'd be in the NHL. I imagine at 15 even less. ….. not a Habs fan by the way. Just stating why I'm not shocked it might take a few to see his best

  8. actually it's la rue des canadiens de montreal… and no, im not joking… 🤣

  9. 0:33 Nail yakupov had an impressive rookie year. Slafkovsky sat out injured. Better not compare Bustkovsky to yakupov, as yakupov already had a better start to his career then bustkovsky does now.

  10. They played against a bunch of nobodies, so can't judge a meaningless game, I'm not expecting much this season, just wanna see them healthy and get better, hopefully we draft top 5 next year.

  11. I’ve been saying this for a while, KEEP MONAHAN. He’s a great guy, great energy, and when the Habs push for playoffs either next year or the one after, having a veteran who can score and pass the will be something we need. Also besides dach, monahan is the only player that works with Caufield and Suzuki, talent is few and far between in the Habs org

  12. Was at this game but everyone seems to be playing well so im excited where this goes.

  13. The problem with Slafkovsky is not that he's a bust, but that the Habs can't develop prospect for shit, he never should have been in the NHL last season, the habs philosophy with their propects is to just throw them in the NHL as soon as they can and hope for the best, like they did with galchenyuk, kotkaniemi, etc etc. Will they do the same with reinbacher ? probably I guess

  14. We just gonna ignore that they were playing against a bunch of AHLers?

Sens didn't ice any of their top 6 or top 4, the only top player they had was Korpi in net. Habs look they iced the better half of their team.

Good to see the Habs finally get a preseason win, but I certainly wouldn't make a big deal of it.
