  1. No ones wrong here at all. You called it perfectly. Only thing I didn’t like is the comment from stone. Here’s hoping the young guy makes the league somewhere and plays a few more games against stone.

  2. The narrative in this video is the same crap that says you can always take advantage. If you can get away with treachery, do it. Sportsmanship is for losers and permanent body injury is just part of the game. All the second-place-is-no-place Lombardies who have never so much as broken a knuckle will now vent their liquored up spleens.

  3. I hate vegas, such a glitzy non hockey town. All they want is a show. No passion for the actual game itself.

  4. I get Stone's reaction. He's known to have that bad back, and he probably feels targeted. I get it.

That said, you were correct in that, he was fair game on that hit. End of story.

  5. dude was there before, he should know that its literally pre season. that kid wants to make the show man. hes not gonna slow down for some vet so he can get used to the puck and shit. Clean hit and lots of hustle from the kid, good on him

  6. buddy can dish it out…but not take it! 3 good decent hits then he gets cleanly ROCKED…..and he whines. pfft! Markstone…

  7. Hope they pull all the Vets off the ice during preseason so I can watch all these people bitch, cry, and whine cause a bunch of nobodys are playing. No reason ar all to end somebody's fkin career during PRESEASON

  8. If Stone's back is that bad he should take up a non contact sport, like crochet.

  9. Dat was fucking awesome
    Great fooking hit Hodgeson
Keep your head up stone, In any game when you're on skates and playing hockey

  10. Looks and sounds like Stone cant take a hit , maybe time to hang up the skates old man . Or maybe they should give him a pink jersey to wear for preseason that says " No contact " . Guys a goofed out diva

  11. Mark Stone is trash. What shite things to say. He should go play in the NFL or the NBA. That kind of condescension isn't wanted in hockey.

  12. They should 100% keep Hodgson up at least until the first game against Vegas. Its pretty clear from the post-game that he's living rent free in Stone's head. If you can get a journeyman forth liner to get the captain of the defending Cup champion off his game, bloody well do it…

  13. Clean hit good job need more players like this in nhl but sad to see Vegas players a bunch of babys lol

  14. It's a boarding penalty. One of the most dangerous plays in hockey and the 800 players in the league respect each other's careers enough not to do this.

  15. Clean hit. It's not an intersquad game with no hit jerseys. If you don't want to take a hit don't suit up. Those are your options in pre season. It was a game not a scrimmage, body checks are part of the game.

  16. A guy of Stone’s caliber should have applauded him for the effort and the clean hit. Instead he decided to cry about it and insult the guy who is working his butt off to make a roster…. That’s classless.

  17. Nothing you can do about it. If i were a star player i would stay very aware that im sharing the ice with players who are desperate.

  18. Even better is the Knight blew the game and let the Kings ahl team beat them in overtime. The actual Kings were all resting after getting back from Australia.

  19. Clearly a beauty of a hit. Only thing could be Stones back injuries, ie something got tweaked and thats why he was so enraged.

  20. ANd Bettman will pay for Vegas again…… Wait till Kaner gets you this year STONED, I mean stone….the Oiler learned their lesson your back isn't gonna last this year pal……Oilers are comin….

  21. I think between this incident and the whole Johnathan Quick situation last year Vegas/LA is heading down the path of Colorado/Detroit.
