I liked Timmins since he got here, and I'd rather have him than Klingberg tbh, I doubt Klingberg play is gonna justify that 3.4 mil cap difference between the two…
Timmins is a keeper on D. Robertson can be a trade chip along with Jones. Jarnkrok or nylander can also be traded.
Why not send woll down and keep Jones I think hes a better goalie.
Timmins is on the team no worries thier and Jones played well too. Jarnkrok is gonna go due to cap.gonna be a pick unless the leafs get spicy!!!
I'm not as high on Jarnkrok as you are. It's great that he's had a career year and he produces in the regular season but his playoff performance is abysmal. If Timmins is a guy that can produce is that back end, I would argue that he's more valuable than Jarnkrok at this point. Besides, Jarnkrok's scoring can be replaced by Gregor, Knies and Robertson.

Always liked what I have seen from Timmins, but, TBH I haven't focused on his defensive side. McCabe has looked like a pylon out there, he kind of makes me nervous this year. I hope I am wrong. Jury out on Klingberg, not surprised he is injured. Jarnkrok does not deserve to be traded out , but it is a business. Trade Jones if you think he won't make it through waivers. Do not lose Timmins for nothing.
If Jarnkrok was kept out for reasons like an injury, they would have said so already. BUT because nobodyās saying, makes me think trade for sureā¦..Hope im wrong, I like the guy
Ok now Klingberg makes sense and why we gave him over 4M , he is going to Robidas Island , YAAAAA! LOL I wish . Wouldn't Timmins be a much cheaper Klingberg we already had?
i hate to be the leafs GM with this mess either way something will come back to bite him in the ass. If jones goes on waviers he will be claimed by TB since they lost there goalie today for 2 months.Worst case scenario is killerbreg is seriously hurt and cant play this year he goes to LITR and boom cap space Great video Andrew GO LEAFS GO
Timmins isn't going anywhere unless they make a bigger trade and he's part of the package for a top 4D, he'll be the 7th D at worst. If they try to send him down he'll get picked up by Pitt, so that ain't happening. Jarnkrok may end up being the odd man out if they need to clear salary, that's not a big loss.

6' 2" 206 lb RD, with definite upside skill, hockey IQ, solid skating ability & legit offensive chops don't grow on trees. Smart get & signing by Dubas imo. This guy was selected 32 overall in 2017 & had a series of serious health setbacks over his 1st 3-4 years & Arizona gave up on him. Not soft at all & had 14 pts in only 25 games with Toronto. He got pushed down the depth chart with the aquisitions of McCabe & Schenn. Losing him on a waiver claim would be beyond stupid. He was healthy all last year & invested his entire off-season on building himself up with the Leaf development staff & looks like he's taken another notable step forward. This guy needs to be kept on the Leaf roster as the 7th D at the minimum. The Leafs can get cap compliant without losing Timmins & I think they'll be able to do so. Tampa is now in a lot of trouble with Vasilevskiy out for 2 months or more.
They should keep the team and play a man short. Austin mitch john and willie miss 40 combined games and they good
Defense depth far more valuable to Leafs than forward based on their current line up. I'd keep Timmins over Jarnkrok.
