Here’s the reason Coyotes haven’t announced Bally Sports as the TV broadcaster yet. New York Post is reporting that Diamond Sports is trying to get certain NBA and NHL teams to agree to a 20% fee reduction by Saturday to make a profit and then liquidate next year after the seasons end to make back money for the Creditors. If teams don’t agree to the fee reduction they will have their contracts rejected and be dropped from Bally Sports. New York Post also reports that Diamond has reached 1 year deals with Comcast and DirecTV to get them through the season.
