1 goal and two assists for a 22 year elite burgeoning superstar the likes of which Montreal has lacked since Guy Lafleur. That's over 40 years.
Tsn carried the French language broadcast, but there was no play by play or ANY commentary. However, there WAS sound… so it was a bit odd, but definitely watchable.

Mailbag question: If Joshua Roy makes it to and sticks with the big club this season, should he get a sponsorship deal from Wawa? Also, should Wawa expand to Montreal?
Roy might benefit from some high volume ice time in LAVAL …and THEN ..call him up to the Habs.!! Let him find his PRO game …then give him a try.!!
I would try Joshua Roy instead of Slavkosky and send Slav to Laval until christmas depending of how he does in the AHL. Roy is in advance of Slav right now. he represents more scoring potential. Until Slav gets back a game shape play he would benefit with more ice time with Laval . do the math 1+1 = 2
