It’s only pre season yes we got out matched and speed out killed we move on
they were cooking for most of the game. forecheck looks great so far. not disappointed tbh
I think are team passes too much on power plays. which was also a main issue last season. happy to see #22 shoot a lot this game. defense got a little bit better but to much breakaways for the devils.
I think the only way you beat the Devils is by zoning at this point. You can't outskate what is a better skater than you. Not saying at points don't attack, but chasing them around any of the zones is quickly followed by scoring chances.
Was at the game tonight. Always want Laff to succeed but man, he wasn’t looking hot tonight and I don’t think there is much chemistry on that top line. Understood it’s early, but not looking hopeful. Of course, 2nd-4th lines look decent because they actually forechecked, go figure…Brodzinski looked great.
Fox 🦊 look rusty and Laf lacks the confidence when paired with the big guns 🎉
These are pre season games and i won't start screaming and cursing until opening day. This team has gone through too many coaches and the chemistry is all mixed up.
Who cares it’s preseason!
Dolan makes him wear a "sphere" pin on his lapel?
It’s easy when it comes to playing the devils. They waste all their energy in the first 10 minutes each period and then start to fall back on their heels cause they get tired. First 10 minutes contain them, then attack 2nd half of the period. U just have to let them skate around in circles for a little before u can score. let them play like it’s a video game while u play real hockey……
I really like the way this team looks. Othmann looks good. I’d still start him in the AHL and develop him. Will be key this year tho
