I think his qualifying offer was 10 if arbitrate will land 7.5-8million for 1 year but definitely not 8 cap will go up hes younger and could vet on himself or hes 26yrs old maybe signs til28 and still has chance get big raise when cap goes up and a 8yr contract then.
Similar to matthews he wont sign 7-8 even at 14million because he could bet on himself and be worth 17-20 when cap goes up. Same with Mcdavid.
