  1. Middleton is popular on the Colorado Eagles, but hope this means he gets a shot for more playing time on somebody else's team. He's just a big goofy nice guy and I want nothing but the best for him.

  2. The last time the Bolts missed the playoffs it wasn't the start, it was the middle after Stamkos got injured vs. Detroit. (MCL?) I'd personally like to see what Hugo can do. I'd rather have a prospect with potential be mediocre than an out of work veteran who will almost certainly be mediocre.

  3. Think Tarasov might be out longer than anticapated with injury so we picked up martin for insurance

  4. With Tarasov hurt, the Blue Jackets are lacking in goaltending depth, so I'm not surprised they claimed someone off waivers. When I saw, "Blue Jackets Claim…," I immediately thought "goaltender?" without even knowing who it was.

  5. "Bounce back from an off year with St. Louis"? Wouldn't Logan Brown need to have an ON year to bounce back to?

  6. when a number 1 goaltender goes down, it gives room for some other guy to jump in. maybe its a good thing. i have always liked Alnefelts game.

  7. Canucks have like 5-6 goalies right now. It'll be….
    Demko/DeSmith in Van
    Silovs/Tolopilo in Abby
    Sawchenko in K-Zoo
    Young back to junior.

  8. Well, now that I've spit my tea all over my monitor from the deadpan "haven't worn a Columbus jersey in a while"…

  9. Methinks the Bolts are underestimating just how much of a setback two months without Vasy is. If it doesn't knock them out of playoff contention outright, it's going to result in the team having to play some serious catch-up once he finally returns. Given their lackluster performance in last year's postseason, I'm not quite sure they're up to the task anymore.

  10. Martin was one of the best backups the canucks have ever had.

Also the worst starter ever. Lol.

  11. Vancouver had six goalies in the system before waiving Martin so they really don't need another goalie for the minors. Silovs will start in the AHL and either the veteran Zach Sawchenko or the rookie Nikita Tolopilo will be the backup in Abbotsford.

  12. Kraken are having to decide between Daccord and Dreidger. If they choose Daccord, theymay have a goalie that could be flipped for, I'm guessing, picks and prospects as Seattle continues to fill out its system.
