Incredible moment racehorse tries to bite rival close to finish line!

What is this?!

Firenze Fire has been around the block a few times, but repeatedly tries to take a chunk out of rival Yaupon in a pulsating finish to the Grade 1 Forego Stakes at Saratoga!

  1. herd animals will always have ranking in their blood!
    horses are like people,
    BAD LOSERS! ha!

  2. That horse is lazy if he would have kept his mind on business of running he would have won the trick is to tie his tongue down he'll win easy all the good ole boys from the back hills of ky know how to stop that his trainer ain't got a clue about horses

  3. Firenze Fire was not disqualified. Jose Ortiz was the jockey. The Ortiz brothers
can get away with murder. They are the untouchable Golden Boys. They won't be disciplined until someone gets hurt.

  4. This is so funny. I have been watching horse racing for 40 years and I never saw anything like this.

  5. I was about 80 feet away from this and it was obvious what was going on, the fan reaction was priceless. Oddly enough Firenze Fire got bitten at a couple years back. I’ve never seen a horse go to these lengths to take a bite.

  6. Mom told me of a horse in her time that would bite other horses while racing, Crimson (something)

  7. Maybe the jockey should stop beating the horse and handle the reins. Looked like a dumb amateur who left the horse no recourse except to bite what is closest.

  8. Looks like that horse is going to have to wear blinders In subsequent races so he doesn't disqualify himself…

  9. The horse bites the other one because it gets whipped / hit by the rider. it is hurting and it is a perfectly normal response. dogs do it a lot. animals who get pushed too hard will always response accordingly. poor horse 🙁

  10. Stallions do not like to be close to each other. The biter is obviously a very dominant horse.

  11. Sometimes in watching sports I see something I've never seen before, and I was watching this one live at a pub with a beer in hand. Absolutely hilarious, unless you had that 8 horse to win.
