Stamkos hit him in a vulnerable position and by some miracle he was able to get his head up above the top of the boards. It’s borderline when viewed in a vacuum but when viewed in the context of this game, holy hell. Ugly game. Been awhile since I’ve seen a fight break out with 17 men on the ice. I’m curious as to whether the league will view that as leaving the bench to start an altercation…

Doesn’t look like anything. He just rode his guy into the boards and got him off balance. Wasn’t even really a check, just bodied him up.
