  1. …making a mistake with 10 million dollar players…the Marner effect…be sure Minnesota..or learn to lose…

  2. I feel like, in the end, Kap is going to sign with Minnesota. And they will give him the bridge deal that he actually wants.
Minnesota won't be happy about it. But they'll eventually do it.

  3. Y’all should have Russo on to talk about Krill because a lot of what you’re talking about has been disproven long ago and there’s lots of newer info to talk about. Plus Russo is just awesome.

  4. It's good, as you say, for young players to get their money. To me, the collusion around not giving offer sheets is not going to be broken by the GMs. The GMs are always trying to balance winning today with maintaining relationships for the next trade they need to make. The young players and their agents need to force their hands. Knock on people's doors and say "I want to play for your team. Offer sheet me."

  5. Looks like his agent is using the same tactic as Tavares agent and his "$13M offer".
    "These guys offered him $10M"
Only this isn't Kyle Dubas saying "Oh really? Then we'll offer you $11M okay?"
Hey Kyle… I have some Prime Real Estate for sale CHEAP!! Guerin isn't buying it but I thought you might be interested.

  6. I think Kaprozov was drafted so low is cause he was drafted first overall in the KHL draft before his nhl draft year and probably planned on playing in Russia which tanked his draft stock.

  7. I don’t think the money is/will be the issue. They’ll give him 9/9.5+ for 5 years – it comes down to if he’ll take 5 years. If he is dead set on a 3 year deal the Wild literally can’t do it, he’d be guaranteed to walk in 3 years w the cap hits coming our way. I think it’ll get done about 5yr/9.25M+

  8. Jesse is on to something…

    To SJ -Krill Kaprizov

    To MIN – Jack Eichel

To BUF – Timo Meier, Thomas Hertl, Marco Rossi (young MIN center prospect) and SJ's 1st round pick.

That checks off everything in Buffalo's list ands everyone's happy.

  9. Just pay the damn kid and lock'em in dammit, he's a smart brat, we need him.

  10. 02:30 exactly… i like that 😉 never understood vince dont get this and makes a gimmick out of it… at least hunter tries with one guy on nxt…

  11. The state of hockey has been patient because we love hockey and we are loyal. However, this Russian stud must play this year. Get it done, period.

  12. Mentions that the Wild were the least interesting team because two players made all the money and was a guessing game if they'd make it past the first round. Sounds a lot like the Maple Laughs, yet you still try to make them interesting.

  13. I don't get it.. reports are he was offered 9M/yr x 5, based on 1 shortened NHL season, what's wrong with that? The KHL stuff is just BS, not worth thinking about. Maybe he just wants to play elsewhere. Lot of these Russians seem to want to play in NYC or Florida, not Columbus or Minnesota etc. Either that or, the guy is just greedy beyond belief.

  14. What's going on you ask? Maybe that one-yr $10mil deal in the KHL wasn't a bluff…? Lol

  15. It’s not about the money it’s about the length. He doesn’t want his best years taken away with a team that could be crippled with buyouts on their cap. Obviously The wild don’t think they have a chance to get him back when he hits ufa. If it comes to it you got 3 years to win a cup with Kaprizov.

  16. The deal is signed… But… For the record… The hang-up was never salary. At first, it was term. Minny wanted 8 years. KK wanted 3 years. They compromised at 5 years. Then it was signing bonus. KK wanted a bonus-heavy "buyout proof" contract. GMBG is not a fan of bonuses (fair given the Parise & Suter deals). In the end, it was 5 years at 9M w/o bonuses. Done. Let's play hockey.

  17. Yeah those were proven to be lies you guys should do some digging before talking about lies his agent spread

  18. The Wild do not want Eichel. The fans don’t want to give up any of our prospects for him let alone all of them plus Fiala or Dumba.
