I hope he plays the season in Abby, kills it so the AHL team has a great year, and sets himself up for another shot at the NHL, whether it be with the Canucks or another team. He had a great AHL season two years ago, let’s see that again.

Another case of too few prospects in the pipeline that fans focus in on the ones we have. If we had six Rathbone level prospects, one not working out wouldn’t move the needle. Even five not working out shouldn’t be unexpected.
He was drafted 4th round – played 30 games and scored a couple goals. That isn’t that bad for a fourth rounder! He had potential that hasn’t been realized yet – good luck to him.
Canucks need to find/draft more Rathbones and see which ones become a Bieksa/Zidlicky/Seidenberg.
