Did not really know much about this kid before he got drafted first overall, and I know he is playing other rookies, but he has grit and speed for his size and I am impressed. I think golden boy Shane Wright got a little too hyped and perhaps the Canadiens did make the right decision in the end.
From what I've seen, he's quick for a big guy, shifty, and highly skilled obviously. But he's currently a giveaway machine. There's no way he's making it to the NHL playing like that. His confidence will get destroyed. In which will push back his development severely.
He gave the puck up multiple times trying to be a one man show…. Dangerous? Yes. To the canadiens because he will turn out to be about as good as Yakupov
Once the hype wears off he will be a fantastic player not only for Montreal but the league as well. Just leave him. Canadiens made the right choice at the draft. So what if he doesn't win rookie of the year.
He is fast, heavy and skilled. In two years or so, just the idea of going in the corner against Slafkovski will be terrifying. If he adds grit and confidence to his game, he will become a fan favorite.
I like him but I believe he won't finish his career in the NHL. He will be hurt so often due to concussions he won't last. He's always got his head down and he's not used to people trying to hurt him. It's a very rough league played by men.

Первый номер? Ну посмотрим!
Maybe the best Power Forward since Eric Lindros! We'll see
Is Shane Wright Dangerous? 🤣😂🤣
He will benefit playing with better players.
He's got wheels and good vision. Will be a probleme when he'll be 23 years old

What league is this
He was forechecking with his stick upside that’s terrible
Reminds me of the unelected fake catholic pres
Monster!
Tools to Dominate. Seems to have the attitude and awareness. From your highlights.
As a Bruins fan………………….

montreal made the right choice this kid is crazy
Hope he likes losing lol
He aiint no Stutzle that's for sure.
Might’ve grabbed the other guy in the last part, but the way he went from top speed to a full stop – quick look – assist on the play, was so smooth.
We will see won’t we, MTL is trash with developing players and keeping them.
I can guarantee you he eats a reverse hit from Seider at some point.
He's fast and strong. But You cannot look at the puck or look your beautyfull pass in the NHL. Good skillset, still a LOT to learn.
Scary player
Overrated
He will do fine. He has weight and knows how to use it for corners. He'll be a beast.
Bruins fan hear. Hate the Habs, but you've got one heck of player.
😔 p̷r̷o̷m̷o̷s̷m̷
Wait in 2 years from now a Monster. Keep your head up Slaf !!!!
Wow you showed 3 highlights and in two of them he gave the puck away and it went the other way lol… Nice assist at the end though
”Year in minors is waste of time” Tell it to Mikko Rantanen, Leon Draisaitl, Cale Makar, Roope Hintz. Etc. List goes forever my dudes
What they don't call holding penalties in this league. Guy grabbed every person he tried to beat to the puck
Didn’t look dangerous at all lol
Damn he really skated hard there!
Dangerous ? Relax

Bro this guy is pretty mid I'm so tired of all these Montreal fans overrating him.
The next Nail Yakupov.
I was half expecting someone dying based on the title
0:29 is it non contact? Idk why 13 doesn't make that hit
Dangerous? I don't think you know what that word means

Bro pulled a McDavid when he stated through all those guys
First clip was only on one ear sound on headphones
if you look real hard you can see some ice
