Wow this looks fun as hell compared to the roller league I play in near me! Nothing but old guys slashing the shit out of anyone that goes near the puck 🤣 so I just play goalie instead
The guys playing who are going to be or are NHLers are playing light. I saw the whole game on another link and you could see it in the intensity flashes of those guys… Light mostly and then a little hard to get the goals. I used to play roller hockey with a backup goalie for the Saskatoon Blades. He was a hotshot because he only played out in the offseason with us, and had something to prove, so he would dance like gretz and play harder than these guys most of the game. But we had another guy who had been a forward on a junior b team and could beat him regularly when he decided to … Mostly he just floated.
Painfully slow. I finally understand why my girlfriend didn’t want to come to my games…and we weren’t HALF as good as these guys. 🤦🏻♂️

My 9 year old son just did this sport few days ago in Tampa Florida. He loved it so much that can’t wait to do it again next year. He plays ice hockey as well but he had a blast playing with wheels.
