Benn and Seguin became good friends and started hanging out removing themselves from hockey and their game went downhill real bad.
I often hear people mention or state it is good the players are getting away on a vacation.There are MANY people who love to play hockey 24/7 if you don't consider playing hockey FUN and getting enjoyment out of it and feeling the NEED to get away your not a hockey player.
Making millions of dollars playing the greatest sport should be FUN and you should be relishing your everyday because there are millions of young players who can only DREAM of having a life as a pro hockey player.
As to Gauthier yep I thought he looked good his all around game looked good no matter 3 on 3.It is still hockey on skates with a stick and your playing versus other players who also have skill so yeah it's hockey.
I really did not like what I saw in Mantha he seems lazy.
As to Newhook I know people love to only see the positive but do we really need to see that Newhook can skate and has soft hands i mean it is the OBVIOSU we already know that.I look at every little thing he does how he thinks how he handles the puck and what he does around the net.He does not shoot well he seems exactly like Suzuki in how he handles the puck around the net and these type of players will never produce big numbers because you DO need to shoot and you NEED a high shooting IQ you can't just shovel pucks at a goalie and HOPE they go in or rely on tap in goals.
I agree with dude Babcock is a dangerous coach I would not hire him in a million years.He might not get canned but he should be lol.LMAo dude repeats what I just said he SHOULD be fired he is NOT a good coach.
As for coaching I get to see one coach the most >>St.Louis and imo he has done a TERRIBLE job th first year.There is no pressure on him but i still need to see proper positional play especially in their own end.MTL has been the WORST team in the league in their own end and MOST of that problem is the forwards not bacj checking properly either they don't actually pick anyone up or they stand beside the same player as someone else leaving the points wide open.
If Newhook is not a marked improvement over dVorak (#3 center), the trade was pointless, IMO .. we'll see what happens.
