UPL for a full one and if he doesn’t bring it then we know who the 1 and 2 will be. If he has a good game I say throw Comrie in for the next one or have them split the game to see. We already know Levi is slated to be the starter.
Call me crazy. Just spitballing here.
Depth is important. Given the injury history of upl and comrie, does it make sense to start levi in Rochester and save the roster spot for when the first injury happens? Those 2 are less likely to get claimed off waivers at a random point mid-season I feel versus preseason. I don’t think upl or comrie pass through waivers with vasy being injured. This also keeps that extra roster spot to protect someone like biro.
It’s not sexy, but it might make sense. There’s 82 games and levi can’t play them all.
