And I feel like Logan Mailloux and Mattias Norlinder both look even better right now than they did earlier in the pre-season. They have put up an incredible battle to remain on the team. With Mike Matheson currently injured can one of these defensemen take his place? Let’s chat about it.

Last night's game was awesome! Hockey is back, baby!
I love how I always feel safe whenever Monahan and Dach are on the ice. We finally got a true 2nd line here, with Dach looking like he will also belong on the top line of a competitive team someday (thanks Chicago, lol). I spotted Mailloux, Xhekaj and Kovasevic all itching to fight some leafs yesterday, but the Leafs players were too busy watching the puck cruising past them on 3 of our 5 goals last night. 😂😂😂

I really liked his first penalty, he actually took Matthew's opportunity. The second one after that was dumb but eh its the preseason best time to bully the leafs for no reasons ig.
For his overall play, I was really satisfied with his o-zone "quaterbacking" and his shot was really good. They're all traits we knew of before but he really showcased them. Sucks he didnt get a point but he you had your eyes on him like I did you should've liked what you saw. Dude is making a case for himself to make the team out of the bath.
Mailloux is the real deal, reinbacher is a bust.
Mailloux is one of 5 RHD, who is better? I said on day one he stays up for some pro games. He may stay up permanently

Mailloux is a beast. I must've heard his name 50 times yesterday the kid can do everything on the ice. I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn into one of the best right handed defensemen in the entire league.
