The 2023 Ryder Cup is the 44th edition and runs between September 25 – October 1. Zach Johnson is the U.S. Team Captain and Luke Donald is the European Team Captain. The U.S. Team are the reigning champion after winning 19-9 at Whistling Straits in 2021. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

    Don't you just love the optimism when you hear an American shout "get in the hole" for a tee shot on a par 5? Or is it perhaps stupidity? Go Europe, kick some butt.

    The Americans played OKish, the Europeans were off the charts. They were taking turns being the hot player on the course, when none of the Americans were hot all day. Many, many missed opportunities by USA. It should have been a lot closer than what it was😥

    WTF??? This entire format is USELESS, just like this COMMIE LIBTARD GOVERNMENT!!! Why doesn't USA just CONCEDE and STOP WASTING TIME ON THIS EVENT. Waste of time and money for EVERYONE INVOLVED ESPECICALLY USA FANS!!!!! PLUS just like the PGA Events, ANYONE WHO WATCHES them are HALF RETARDED SINCE THEY HAVE BASTARDIZED IT WITH COMMERCIALS!!!! I was hoping the LIV Tour would REPLACE THE PGA, so we could finally watch GOLF NOT COMMERCIALS!!!!!

    Before our friends across the pond get too cocky, let's have 1 country play 1 country.
    Having said that, if they're going to keep this format, it has to be a contest, neither side dominating or it will fade away. Should Europeans that play the pga tour all year be allowed on the European team?

    If it wasn't for the three super putts on hole 18 by the Ryder cup team it would be 8 all going into the last day that is what's going to win the Ryder cup for Europe. Its not that the USA played badly its those three putt's and the 16th hole by J Rahm

    It is unacceptable for the US to start the first day with a total of 11 majors sitting on the bench. To lead the young guns on foreign land, he needed that spark and experience.
