  1. This will be a big what if. As a Leafs fan I was hoping he'd beat it and be able to live out his dreams in the NHL. Rest in peace Rodion. I hope the Leafs can do something to honour you this year, even something small. Also good move on you Eck for doing a fundraiser this video. If I was in a position to donate, I would in a heartbeat.

  2. I don't think it matters which team you support. This news is something no one ever wants to hear. The hockey community mourns the loss of an amazing kid. Prayers for the Amirov family and Rodion, you'll never be forgotten. Rest easy bud.

  3. ah, so many tears about some young dead rusky while every day hundreds of young Ukrainians are dying because of russians. He and his family supported the war, the less ruskys are – the better for others.

  4. This story really broke me. Love the game. Love the players. But holy shit this kid didn’t deserve this. What a fucking warrior.

  5. It’s honestly tragic to here about anybody passing. Givin the circumstance this one hurts my soul. I hope that cancer treatment improves and we get better at identifying and figuring out how to battle and beat this disease.

  6. Does anyone know what his number was in the last season he played ? I want to buy his jersey

  7. RIP Amirov.
He died of a brain tumor on the 1 year anniversary of my grandmother passing of a brain tumor. FUCK CANCER

  8. RIP Rodion, your fight was short but you were a hell of a fighter ❤😢. P.S. to Phil Kessel for fighting and surviving cancer and winning 2 stanley cups

  9. As someone who has gone through the terrible experience that is cancer, I can whole heartedly say, it is one of the worst things that can ever happen to a person, I have made a full recovery and have been cancer free for 14 years, despite surviving, I lost friends to cancer and it is sad to see a potential star go like this, wish the best for his family. This is why I am such a believer that a cure is needed, cancer is such an atrocious disease, and even though I was 10 weeks old when diagnosed I can tell that I had a terrible time in those 3 years I was being treated.

  10. He didn't have to die. Dr Burzynski has been curing cancer for decades in Texas. He has proven his safety and effectiveness especially compared to traditional Chemotherapy or Radiation. He uses Antineoplastons and had beat the FDA. It's a crime more people haven't heard of him. Dr Sebi also had cured cancer. Research those names.

  11. dude as soon as i saw the notification from espn and i just sat there and cried my eyes out even though i’m not a leaf’s fan it really is sad to see that a player that young die so soon

  12. That's really sad. I'm sorry this had to happen to him, his family, his friends, his teammates (both KHL and NHL), and anyone else who knew him. I pray he finds the peace and rest he deserves and for everyone impacted by his death.

  13. As a Bruins fan who hates the Maple Leafs this is such devastating news to hear. Poor kid had a whole career and life ahead of him just to be cut short. May he rest in peace and all the best wishes to his family and friends affected by the loss. Absolutely heartbreaking

  14. @Eck I posted a video about another YouTube channel that has left up a video update about Amirov's health, that at the time, there was some positive news. The owner of the channel then retitled the video to RIP RODION AMIROV and left it up, with the "positive news" and "hopefulness" now causing more pain and grief. It comes up in search results for Rodion. Would you help me ask Nick to take it down? Thanks.

  15. Props for doing this. It seems all other CC's were too apathetic or scared to discuss this one. Cheers!
